The present study has been done to determine The effect of assertiveness program on clinical competence, resiliency, and clinical decision making in critical care units nurses.
Design
This study is a two-group design, in which 70 nurses of intensive care units were randomly assigned to one of the two experimental groups (35) and control (35).
Settings and conduct
Two hospitals in Hajar and Kashani Shahrekord, randomly and in order to avoid leakage, information about intervention as a confounding variable is studied in one of two groups.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria:
Nurses working in critical care units nurses
Have a bachelor's degree or higher
Satisfaction of nurses to participate in the study
Having at least 6 months of work experience in the critical care unit
Lack of previous participation in a curriculum related to assertiveness skills
Exclusion criteria:
Unwillingness to cooperate and discontinue participation in the study
Completed incomplete questionnaires by nurses
Failure to attend a training session
Intervention groups
Nurses working in critical care units (CCU-ICU-dialysis),The intervention group is trained in assertiveness skills during 6 sessions of one and a half hours (three times a week), while the control group does not receive.

Two hospitals in Hajar and Kashani Shahrekord randomly and in order to avoid leakage, information about intervention as a confounding variable is placed in one of the two intervention and control groups. Then, according to the number of nurses in each department and the share of each direction Entrance to the sample is selected randomly. If nursing does not want to participate in the study, it will be out of research and replaced with another person.
